Our CommunityThe Marigny Trace Property Owners Association was established in 1995 when the first homes were constructed in Phase I of six subdivision phases. It is located in Mandeville, LA, about one and a half miles north of the lakefront marina and one mile east of Highway 59.
The Marigny Trace subdivision is governed by deeds and covenants designed to preserve the values of the properties and integrity of the neighborhood. These covenants are upheld with the oversight of the Board of Directors and GNO Property Management.
The MTPOA is proud to be a part of the Mandeville comunity and endeavors to offer an exceptional community, convenient to commuters, schools, shopping and community centers.
New Construction on Adjacent Property
As of 01/14/2016, the New Year is ringing in with new construction on the adjacent land at Montmartre and Jackson. Developer / builder Bill Johnston acquired the land, formerly owned by Marie Taylor. The old house was torn down and the property is being divided into 7 lots - approx. 90 wide each - for 7 new homes.
Four of the new homes will be built by May Investments LLC (if you'd like to see examples of their outstanding construction, take a ride down Old Mandeville Lane, where you'll see several that have been built and sold within the past three years.) Those four will face Montmartre and the pricepoint for these properties will be just above $400,000. The remaining three homes will be built by the developer / builder and will face Hazel and the Marigny Trace recreation area on Tanager.
We'll have updates as the construction begins.
Renaissance Property Management
As of January 1, 2016, Marigny Trace Board of Directors has engaged Renaissance Property Management for the management of our properties, replacing GNO Property Management. The Board feels strongly that this change will better support the vision and effectiveness of the board and provide more comprehensive management services overall, without increasing our costs.

Progressive Waste provides garbage collection every Tuesday and Friday, along with recycling collection every Wednesday, for the cost of $66 each quarter. Credits have been issued on any accounts that have been overcharged. All damage from trucks to cul-de-sacs, greenspace, and lawns should now be repaired. Lastly, you should expect that emptied receptacles will be returned to the curb with closed lids. If you are still using a waste management company other than Progressive, please consider making a change. At $66 per quarter and free recycling, Progressive is a bargain and, perhaps more importantly, we want to limit the number of heavy trucks and curtail further damage to our streets.
Speeding and ignoring stop signs within our community continues to be a problem. The safety of our children is our biggest concern. We have requested additional sheriff patrols for MT. Please do your part to keep Marigny Trace safe for everyone.
